The workshop is facilitator led and highly interactive using modern presentation methods. Professional Telephone Skills will help your frontline staff to learn telephone skills and techniques to enable them to handle confidently and competently customer service related telephone calls. Participants will learn how to have meaningful, pleasant interaction with your callers and how to offer them extraordinary service every time. Participants will: - Understand that the telephone is a vital customer service tool. - Gain an awareness of the importance of correct pronunciation, language and tone. - Learn how to answer the telephone with a smile and positive attitude. - Learn how to gain a rapport with callers and to develop positive communication links. - Learn how to answer the telephone, greet the customer and use the hold and transfer facility of the telephone system. - Learn how to listen actively and use open questions to ascertain customer’s needs. - Learn how to clarify the customer’s inquiry to ensure misunderstandings do not occur. - Learn how to take messages and confirm information. - Participate in a practical session using the skills and techniques taught and practice learning to say ‘no’. - Receive a workbook, telephone skill reminder card, stick on note message pad and a KiwiHost nationally recognised certificate.
